Samuel Bragança Mendes de Freitas was born in 2002 in Portugal. He started playing the clarinet at the age of 6, from which he was accompanied by teacher Luísa Marques until the end of his secondary (high school) studies. Always standing out, he finished 12th grade top of the class, having worked with various known teachers. Currently, Samuel is studying in Conservatorium van Amsterdam under the guidance of Arno Piters.
