Founded in 1998, Trio Contrastes has played in important Festivals of Spanish music and contemporary music worlwide. Its repertoire is based on original pieces from the 20th and 21st centuries. Trio Contrastes’ repertoire is wide and it is continuously growing because many composers from various countries have composed and dedicated new works for them, including either clarinet or bass clarinet. The trio has been rewarded by the excellent reviews and audience reactions to its productions. Trio Contrastes regularly participates in ECA European clarinet festivals.
