Soloist and professor of bass clarinetist Fie Schouten and her students, the Dutch Femke van den Bergh, the American (with Dutch ancestors) Amy Zuidema and the Austrialian Chris Watt form an ensemble for this occasion. All have own groups and ensembles. They collaborate with composers, arrange, compose themselves and/or improvise. They all have an open mind in combination with an eye for the quality of their programs, the music, their performance and instrumental skills. Next to the bass clarinet they are playing the other clarinets, the larger and smaller ones.
