The KlarinetNsemble is a prominent performing choir of first-rate amateurs and a few players with a professional background, in total 24 musicians. It has its base in Hilvarenbeek, but thanks to its quality it attracts clarinettists from near and far. From its foundation an odd 30 years ago, it has been conducted by Maarten Jense. The choir consists of the complete clarinet family: from e-flat to contra bass and is capable of doing full justice to the rich possibilities of the instruments. It regularly performs far away from its home ground and the program often features light classical and Latin American works.
