Jean-Francois Bescond received the French National Music Studies Diploma after studying with acclaimed teachers Guy Dangain (ONF / CNSMDP), and Michel Gamblin, the last student of Louis Cahuzac.
He is the co-soloist of the ORCHESTRE PHILHARMONIQUE DE L’OISE, also a member of the clarinet quintet OCTAVE V CLARINET’ CAPRICCIO, and the TAJ TRIO.
Interested in the music of our time, he regularly commissions pieces of short duration for solo clarinet so that no program can be presented without music from the 21st century.
Mr. Bescond is the European Market Development Manager for the international music instrument manufacturers, Eastman and Backun.
