About this project

He began his musical studies from an early age graduating brilliantly in clarinet in 1990 at the Conservatory of Music “N. Piccinni” in Monopoli (section detached from Bari) under the guidance of M° Angelo Clemente.
In the same Conservatory he also attended courses in piano, jazz and composition held by the masters: G. Stea, G. Lenoci, M. Francia, F. Arigliano.
He has participated in specialization courses and master-classes held by the masters Vincenzo Mariozzi, Richard Stolzman, Fabrizio Meloni, Romain Guyot and Patrick Messina in various Italian locations, often resulting among the best students.
He has made recordings for important national and international record labels.
He still carries out an intense concert activity and has to his credit more than a thousand concerts as a soloist, in chamber ensembles such as: Clarinet-Piano Duo, “Wind Orchestra” of the N. Piccinni Conservatory of Music in Bari, “Apulia Academy Quartet”, “Quartetto Denner”, “Rossini Trio” (for this formation numerous important authors such as: S. Kenyon, D. Leisner, R. Ceccarini, I. Shoshim, U. Dojcinovic, etc. have composed and dedicated their works), Trio “ Amadeus”, The Winds Of The Orchestra of the “Giovanni Paisiello Festival” etc.; in orchestral formations in Italy and abroad. He has played and collaborated with the orchestras: “Sonora Corda” of Bari, “N. Piccinni” of Bari, “C. Vitale” of Bari, “Petruzzelli” of Bari, Artistic Body “L’Opera” of Bari, “Apulian Opera Concert Body”, “G. Paisiello” of the Province of Taranto, “Ascupelis” of Taranto, “V. Bellini” in Catania, the “International Orchestra of Italy”, the “Apulian Regional Philharmonic”, the Chamber Orchestra of the “Giovanni Paisiello Festival”, the “Magna Grecia Orchestra” in Taranto under the direction of great masters.
He has collaborated as a soloist with the “South Symphonic Band”.
Founder and permanent conductor of the Wind Orchestra “G. Paisiello” in Palagiano from 1993 to the present day.
Composer of chamber, orchestral and band music pieces, he also devoted himself to teaching;
From 1996 to 2018 he held the clarinet chair at the “G. Paisiello” of Taranto.
In the 2018/19 Academic Year he held the Clarinet Chair at the “U. Giordano” of Foggia (Section of Rodi Garganico).
He currently holds the clarinet chair at the “N. Piccinni” in Bari and holds the position of first clarinet at the ICO Magna Grecia Orchestra in Taranto with which he performs in Italy and abroad.
