Laly Shams, a talented Dutch clarinettist born in 1995, graduated with distinction from the Utrecht Conservatory in 2020.

Since her masters, she has performed as a substitute player in various professional symphony orchestras in the Netherlands, with concerts locally and internationally.

Laly has participated in competitions such as the “Manhattan International Music Competition”, “Vienna International Music Competition”, “Fanny Mendelssohn International Music Competition” earning several awards. She also received an award at the “American Virtuoso International Music Competition,” granting her a debut at the Carnegie Hall in December 2023.

Since September 2022 Laly started collaborating closely with renowned clarinettist Martin Fröst.
