Rodinia is a musical trio formed by pianist Ferdie van Assche, violinist Esther Damsma – in ‘t Groen and bass_clarinettist Steven Henry. The music we perform is mostly a mix of classical music, latin, minimal music and jazz. Or, easier said, Rodinia just performs the music we like most.

Besides performing existing works, Rodinia commissions contemporary composers and we compose music ourselves. In this way, Rodinia broadens its renewing and inspiring repertoire with an open mindset.

Because of the variation between performing classics and new works, between improvisation and composition, the concerts of Rodinia are always an unique experience.
